My client was accused of simple assault in Atlantic City for a domestic violence case involving his girlfriend. She was also charged which made the case interesting. I hooked her up with a good lawyer that is a friend of mine but I would quarterback the whole case. The problem with this case is that everything was on video.
We showed up to Atlantic City municipal court ready for trial. However, after speaking with the prosecutor, I was able to get her to dismiss the case. This is not easily done in Atlantic City as the prosecutors there can be tough. My friend also got the charges against his client dismissed as well.
