Four charged with handgun, theft and money laundering charged in Bergen County
Four men were arrested Wednesday after police found them with stolen cars, a handgun and more than $30,000 in cash. A detective noticed a suspicious group of men near four parked vehicles in the parking lot outside a Route 4 Holiday Inn Wednesday night. Officers approached the area, and found that two of the cars had been reported stolen. A K-9 team later found a loaded 9 millimeter handgun and around $31,000 in cash in another car. Two men were charged with possession of a handgun and receiving stolen property. Two others were were charged with receiving stolen property and money laundering. All four were arrested and remanded to the Bergen County Jail in Hackensack.
