Middletown Police arrested two Monmouth County residents and charged them with multiple offenses Burglary, Robbery, Theft, Conspiracy, Unlawful Possession of a Handgun, Possession of a Handgun for an Unlawful Purpose, two counts of Aggravated Assault, Unlawful Possession of Xanax, Unlawful Possession of Alprazolam and Unlawful Possession of Clonazapam and Obstructing the Administration of Law.  The men allegedly entered a home armed with a handgun, threatened the occupants and struck one in the head with the gun. The suspects then allegedly stole an undisclosed amount of money and prescription medication and fled on foot.  Twenty minutes later, police observed the two men across town on Bray Avenue.
