Driver in Tracy Morgan crash charged with Death by Auto in Middlesex County

Kevin Roper of Jonesboro, Ga has been charged with one count of death by auto and four counts of assault by auto in Middlesex County. He is the driver of the truck that hit a limousine bus carrying comedian Tracy Morgan among others. The crash killed comediain Jimmy Mack aka James McNair. Tracy Morgan and others were seriously hurt in the crash and were taken to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Brunswick.

Rober turned himself into the State Police on Saturday night. He was accompanied by his attorney. After being processed, he was released after posting a $50,000 bail.

Charges filed in crash that killed Manchester mother

Jean Paul Forde of Martin Drive in the Whiting section of Manchester, faces charges of death by auto and assault by auto for the May 30 collision that killed Colleen Guierro of Second Avenue in Manchester, according to Jackson police Capt. David Newman.  Forde was allegedly driving at a high rate of speed while under the influence of alcohol, when he lost control of a 1998 Honda Accord and crashed into the 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt driven by Colleen Guierro, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Forde is charged with vehicular homicide, assault by auto, driving while intoxicated, reckless driving and failure to maintain a lane.
