Monmouth County Drug Possession Lawyer | Neptune men facing drug possession, distribution charges
Two Neptune men are facing numerous drug charges after a lengthy investigation led to the discovery of heroin, cocaine, other drugs and drug paraphernalia in their homes, the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office announced Tuesday. Lovester Wright, 39, and Keith Collins, 38, were charged after a search warrant was executed at their Neptune homes. More than a half of an ounce of powder cocaine, more than a half of an ounce of crack cocaine and Clonazepam, a prescription controlled dangerous substance, were seized from Wright’s home on Tide Place, authorities said. The search of Collins’ home turned up more than a half of an ounce of heroin and undisclosed quantities of cocaine, methamphetamines and anabolic steroids. Tools and materials for packaging and selling controlled dangerous substances were also found, authorities said. Wright was charged with two counts of second-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance with the intent to distribute and three counts of third-degree possession of controlled dangerous substances. Collins was charged with one count of second-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance with the intent to distribute, three counts of third-degree possession with intent to distribute controlled dangerous substances, four counts of third-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance and one count of first-degree maintaining a controlled dangerous substance production facility.
