Four individuals have been charged in connecting with their alleged involvement in a half hour North ward crime spree that included: eluding, receiving stolen property, resisting arrest, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm, possession of a defaced firearm and possession of hollow point bullets, possession of cocaine and possession with the intent to distribute.

Off Duty Police Officer Charged with criminal mischief and receiving stolen property

Newark police officer stole a  car from drunk driver, and  smashed the stolen vehicle into his wife’s car, authorities say Off Duty copy steals drunk drivers car and uses it to ram his estranged wifes car. He has been charged with criminal mischief and receiving stolen property and was immediately suspended from the Newark police force.

Newark man arrested after allegedly assaulting Essex County Sheriff’s officer

A Newark man assaulted a Essex County Sheriff’s officer. Michael Hawkins, 34, was charged with two counts of aggravated assault and one count for receiving stolen property.

Holmdel Burglary Attorney – Teen charged with burglary of cars

Holmdel Burglary Attorney – Monmouth County Juvenile Court Lawyer

Kevin Daly, 18,  of Holmdel was arrested by Patrolman Robert Philhower after he was allegedly observed around 4:45 p.m. walking through the Holmdel High School parking lot and entering vehicles.  Police allege that Daly was found to be in possession of an Apple iPod Touch valued at $399 and $12 in cash.  Police believe that they were stolen from the vehicles.  As a result, he was charged with burglary, theft, and receiving stolen property.
